Zimbali House

For this project, architect Joy Brasler specified a floating French oak timber ceiling with a bespoke sandblasted texture, creating a striking architectural feature throughout the space. To achieve a seamless aesthetic, Cobinlight colour-matched the recessed anti-glare downlights to the ceiling using a custom bronze finish, carefully developed through our colour-matching process. The result allows the fittings to visually disappear into the architecture, placing the focus on the space rather than the lighting. A standout feature of the project is the bespoke solid brass linear suspension light, custom-designed and crafted for the kitchen island, providing both functional illumination and a sculptural focal point.
